win xp problem Friday, November 16, 2001 at 8:46 pm Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by jo oj (2 messages posted) I have just recently upgraded the windows from Win98 to XP. When I installed an antivirus program, a message showed me that "Registry Editing has been disabled by your administrator." I have only 1 account so I am the administrator. Now I can't access regedit or to do anything that involves registry. Can anyone help me to fix this error?
