I don't understand it. I don't know how or why some of you are having so many problems. I am not trying to be a jerk, but except for the slow home networking, I haven't seen any problems with XP. One of the first things I did though, was to disable the firewall and install Norton Internet Security 2002. It did make a big difference, and I never realized how much I was being attacked over my cable mode. One thing I have learned through reading some articles, is that most antivirus programs, are not compatible with XP. Actually, I have heard that unless a program has been certified for atleast Windows 2000, you may experience problems. I have a new Dell Dimension 1.7G with 256 MB of ram, and Windows XP home addition installed. I am very satisfied with Windows XP. (once I returned to the classic windows look that is)
