Highly unlikely . Firstly your motherboard is unlikely to support DDR RAM . Secondly
XP will identify the hardware change and possibly disable your computer - thinking
it has been installed on a new machine , requiring you to persuade microsoft customer
services that you aren't pinching their software .
Try to limit hardware upgrades to around one every three months . That seems to be
all that xp will allow .
I think motherboards supporting pentium 111 and 1v with DDR should be available early
next year .Ian.
