XP Modems Sunday, November 18, 2001 at 4:28 am Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Tom (3 messages posted) I usea nd azteck MP3858SP-E v90 modem. this installed with xp drivers but fails to connect at any speed higher than 38000 kbps. previously connected with me 48800 kbps another problem is that the modem will not release the telephone port after disconecting from the internet i would be gratfull if some one could help to solve these issues.
