Have a new Sony FXA 36 laptop. Have followed Roxio directions to install Easy 5 and then two update files. Have been on the phone to Roxio Tech support for at least 2 1/2 hours. Have done everything they could think of (they are sending a new CD to see if mine is defective) uninstalled the CD writing sw that came with the computer. The end result is that after trying to install Easy CD it destroys the ability to access the CD RW/DVD drive - it is not in my computer anymore!!!!! This is a clean install on a new computer, so all the points about uninstalling do not apply. Does anyone have a clue of what to do? Don't know what other details I need to supply.
