need help uninstalling XP From DOS prompt Thursday, November 22, 2001 at 4:32 am Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Router76 (1 messages posted) I was in the middle of upgrading my system from 98 to XP and when it was about to finish the system restarted the OS but then it took me to the same upgrade place where it left off before. Means the OS keeps installing same files over and over again and upgrade never finish. I am sick and tired of seeing that window now. Is it possible if i can bring back my old win98 OS. I dont wanna lose any files . My finals are coming :( Please help me ..I tried to run the safe mode and Last Known Good but same thing happened again it restarts the upgrade process. Is there anyway i can boot from win98 bootdisk and uninstall every XP file that was copied and bring back my old operating system, but i am not too good with DOS ..plz reply to me ASAP. Thanks!!!!
