I prefer to keep my quick launch toolbar on the right side of my screen, rather than at the bottom, with all my frequently used programs and folders on it. I love this arrangement and it used to work fine. Recently I upgraded to WinXP and one thing I noticed straight away was that when I clicked the 'show desktop' button (on my quick launch toolbar) it would minimise windows but also my toolbar with it. I have selected on the 'always on top' option and this problem never happened in Win2000. One funny thing is that the toolbar DOESN'T minimise once I've unselected 'always on top', but then I can't see the toolbar under all the windows, so there's little point in that.
