error message while loading XP Friday, November 30, 2001 at 4:09 am Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by gila (17 messages posted) After copying the files and rebooting for the first time I get the following error. "An error has been encounterd that prevents the setup from continuing .One of the components that windows need to continue setup could not be installed. Manifest Parse Error: Invalid at the top level of the document. Press OK to view setup log file. Does anyone know what this error means and how can I remedy this issue?
