Turns out problem caused by running the freeware registry-cleaning app "EasyCleaner".
It whacks out some registry keys that prevent SysInfo AND the Windows Help functions
from launching. The fix is at the ToniArts (EasyCleaner) site. Go to Download Center
and get "FixWinXPHelp.reg". After downloading, right-click and hit Merge to enter
into registry, as with any reg file. It works. For a preventable fix, type 'help'
(no quotes) in the 'Skip' box in the registry cleaning window to prevent it happening
again. I also listed 'help' in the Skip box at the file cleanup window just to be
paranoid-safe. This also works! Happy cleaning!!!
