alrite in my case i had no sound on my laptop after installing xp......what i had
to do was go into control panel------->sound and audio devices, then click on the
'audio' tab, and set your sound card playback device. for some reason xp picked
my modem as the primary playback device. so much for autodetection :P hope this
helped for u
