How much memory Saturday, December 8, 2001 at 3:32 pm Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Dan L. Dunphy (26 messages posted) Hi, am getting a new AMD processor with windows XP. I have been told that windows reads only up to 256. I do a lot of music and photo stuff. Do you think 256 RAM is enough, or should I get the 512 and have more than enough?
