Page File & BSOD

I've been getting a BSOD in regards to paging. Although I don't remember the exact
wording, it paged to an area of the disk not set up to be in the page file. It had
the standard recommendations like turning off video caching in the BIOS, but I'd
like to keep those performance increasing options enabled.

I have 768mb of RAM (3 x 256mb chips), and had virtual memory set to 1gb (min=max).
This occurs most when playing games (Unreal Tourney). I'm wondering why, with 768mb
of RAM) do I even have to page in the first place?!?! Because I'm fed up with the
BSOD's, I've disabled virtual RAM and ordered a 512mb chip to replace one of my 256mb
chips (1gb total).
