re: Uninstall XP Sunday, December 9, 2001 at 12:27 am Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Tom S (200 messages posted) Scott, if you installed WinXP using the UPGRADE method vs. the CLEAN INSTALL method, then your Win98 system files were saved on your hard disk. To un-install XP and automatically revert back to your 98 system as it was, go to Control Panel and select the ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS icon, where you'll find Win XP on the list of choices.
