Scott, if you installed WinXP using the UPGRADE method vs. the CLEAN INSTALL method, then your Win98 system files were saved on your hard disk. To un-install XP and automatically revert back to your 98 system as it was, go to Control Panel and select the ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS icon, where you'll find Win XP on the list of choices. Remove Win XP and it'll restore your old 98 system just as it was before the upgrade, if you didn't do anything too odd to the data files meanwhile, etc.
