PROBLEM SOLVED !
J.R. thank you so much for taking the time to respond to my delima.
i worked for hours trying to solve the problem,,,and as i suspected the problem was
more simple than complex. & yes it was human error,,,but as to why it happened i'm
not really sure.
mt friend andy built the computer and xp forced him to put in a password when he
installed the os.
then after he turned it over to me to install the various sw. xp allowed me to create
& successfully enter an admin account & pw.
i even worte it on a 3x5 card,,& taped it to the box.
i logged in & out of admin ,,i would guess 15 times,,,then all the sudden it stopped
excepting the pw I created.
i struggled or hours,cap locks off,cap locks off, trying diff pw's i have used in
the past, etc.
i was getting really stressed,,,& whats bad is that i've had 2 heart attacks & i
stroke,,,,,i don't need stress.
ANYHOW,,,i took the pc to work,,,andy put in the ORIGIONAL pw,,,& the damn thing
logged on !!!!!!!!!
it took him all of 12seconds to fix it.
aaaaaaaahhhhhhhh !
i'm gonna take your advice,,,,get that program ,,,create a back door admin account,,,
plus there is a way to put the pw on a floppy. it encripts the admin pw .
