Do you have the new XP drivers installed for your video card? The drivers that come on the Windows XP disk are for basic functions only. They do not support such things as OpenGL which many games need. The Nvidia XP drivers do support OpenGL and DirectX. http://www.nvidia.com/view.asp?PAGE=windows2000 Download and install the Nvidia XP drivers and see if that helps your games.
