Disk cache on LS-120 drive

I have an Imation LS-120 Superfloppy drive as Drive A. I upgraded to XP Professional
and the drive works fine except it takes two tries to eject a disk. The first try
seems cause the system to write to it, the second try ejects it. Write caching seems
to be the culprit, but I can't find out how to turn it off.
