Looks like they use Java for their chat client. Did you install the Java virtual
machine for Internet Explorer on your system? It doesn't come with XP; you must download
and install it separately from Microsoft.
To get it, use the Windows Update feature (Start > All Programs > Windows Update).
Click "Pick update to install", then "Windows XP" (ignore Critical or Driver updates).
You're looking for the Microsoft Virtual Machine (Microsoft VM).
