Don't remember how to get rid of it but you can make it small and insignificant by doing this:- Right-click the Desktop, click "Properties", click the "Appearance" tab, click the "Advanced" button. Click the scroll button near the middle of the window, and click "ToolTip". Make the font "Small Fonts" and make the size "2", then make the colours a similar colour to your Toolbar. Then "OK" and "Apply" your way out
