Tribes 2 (patching) - XP reports error, but error seems to be security issue Thursday, December 20, 2001 at 8:15 pm Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Mike Evans (4 messages posted) I was re-installing tribes 2, and then decided to do the Autoupdate- when the first update completes XP gives an error and shuts down the autoupdate app. The error says something about XP terminating the app because it was sending information to an outside source (sierra). Can't patch this game when XP is throwing a fit. I tried disabling error reporting but XP still kills the app regardless.
