Do a search for the Hosts file and add an entry for the machine you want to connect to. (IP address then tab then name of computer) Win 2K/XP rely heavily on DNS so without a DNS server they have trouble connecting. Also make sure every one that will access a share has their own account setup on that pc. (go to control panel - user accounts and create an account for each person with their password that they log in with) Good Luck...
