The Windows XP machine can see the ME computer but says that it doesn't have proper permission to connect to it. I have tried setting up users on the ME computer and it still does not let me connect. I can browse the XP computer and manipulate files at will from the ME computer but cannot access any shares on the ME computer from the XP computer. The IP addresses are set up as you suggested already. John
