I'm trying to network 2 pc's running Win XP so that I can have internet and file sharing (having ADSL installed on Mon 7th Jan) I keep getting a network cable is unplugged message on both pc's. I've got a 3Com EtherLink 10/100 PCI card in one machine and a Netelligent 10/100TX PCI UTP Controller in the other. Connected with a cable. I've run the Win XP networking wizzard but it keeps saying that network connection are listed are disconnect. Both cards are showing as working properly in the properties but I cannot get the network to work. Where am I going wrong? PLEASE HELP. Thanks
