How do you make XP think it has SP5

Good Afternoon:
Under Windows2000 you could add a registry entry under Windows NT|Current Version
called CSDVersion and put in Service Pack 5 to make an installation program think
that you had at least SP5 of NT 4. When I am trying this on XP no go. Each time
I reboot the entry is gone. Any luck. I have a program I need to get on my new
latop that the vendor hasn't updated yet and it is looking for sp5 or better of NT4.
TIA,
Stan
