xp internet connection Monday, January 7, 2002 at 3:14 pm Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by greg (13 messages posted) i have a intel mainboard with the 850 chipset. i'm using 512 mb of rambus ram and a 1.5 gig pentium4 cpu. i don't know if that info will be of significants, but may be useful. i have windows xp home upgrade (with all the patches) and i'm using juno as my isp. i have a 'zoom' 56k fax & winmodem. I also use a 'standard 19200' modem for use of my cell phone. I can connect to the internet one time and then need to reboot to connect a second time. I get the same ras error 628 using both modems. I have been on site to get the ras error message analysis. Can someone help me with this aggravation?
