Control Panel folder problem

Everytime I open the control panel, the columns on the top (Name, and Comment), keep
resetting to the default view. I am running in Details mode, so when I say default
I mean both the columns are the same size, and I can't read the titles/descriptions,
I see:
Name Comment
Add Hardware | Installs and trouble... |
Add or Remove P...| Install or remove pr...|
etc,.. this problem doesn't happen when I run in windows classic mode, but when I
use XP styles (Luna), it happens.
