Open AHQ; then, open "Speaker". In the upper left-hand corner of the window, your should see "Digital output only". Make sure ther is an "x" in the checkbox. Also, assure that you have chosen 5.1 Speakers, as your speaker type. My card works perfectly with XP. Good luck!
