TDK 24/10/40 slow burn Friday, January 11, 2002 at 12:06 am Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Wayne West (10 messages posted) I just installed a TDK veloCD 24/10/40 CD Burner, and its is burning SLOW. It took 40 minutes to burn a backup of an Audio CD. Granted, the source was on the same IDE chain, but after moving the Source (a Creative DVD-ROM that reads at 20x) to the Primary IDE Chain, and attempting to burn again got the same results. I was using 24x speed media, had "Fastest Possible" selected. I'm running a 1.2ghz/256 machine. Any ideas??
