Outlook XP Sticks in Memory

I am running Windows XP Pro and Office XP. For the most part, everything runs pretty darn good. But sometimes Outlook XP gets 'stuck' in memory. Meaning, I have exited the program (using the X and File|Exit) and onto something else - but I can 'hear' my drive still being active. So when I pop open the taskmanager, there is outlook sucking up my resources. To which I then kill it - but it would be nice if this didn't happen ... any solutions? Thanks a ton. -T. Jnke
