Nice try, you'd think he or anyone would have tried this before asking... the problem is even if you change the windows startup sound to something else from control panel, you hear that sound mixed in ALONG with the start up sound that you can't find anywhere in wav format to get rid of. this windows xp bull propaganda of more reliable / easier to use operating system is getting a bit on my nerves.
