I am having the same problem but the other way around. I have installed in English
but one of the users in my household would prefer to login in French. I have changed
the regional settings to french and eliminated all other options in the language
bar but it still boots into english. Now, I have looked on the Microsoft site and
there is one tech note on the subject that states something about editting the register
file and rebooting. I have not tried this yet since it could be dangerous according
to the notes at the bottom of the description. If anyone knows the real answer please
help. ...P.S., my boss' computer boots in french for his kids and english for himself.
He got his out of the box from Dell so someone out there knows how to do it.
