I have a question about Disable the automatic display of thumbnails in certain folders:

I have screwed up my system folders somehow (probably by using tweak-xp) and now, when i try to install tweak-xp or tweakui, i get a 1606 error that the folder "my pictures" (which i renamed to "pictures") cannot be found. I noticed that it is set to 'read-only' but i cannot change this property. Is there something i can change in the regestry to get the system folders back to what they should be, or at least so i can install tweakui? thanks
