Matt,
I am not privy to what other communication you have had on your
particular problem; you only mention it here, so I can only tell you that you cannot
have XP's firewall enabled using a Linksys Router which has a builtin firewall too.
I have the same setup as yourself and experienced identical results after enabling
the XP firewall; the network "died" on the Win 98SE client computer. But since you
haven't supplied any other information as to what you are actually wanting to fix
and/or do, I can't comment any further. Perhaps you have left the original thread
to make a new post, but in doing so, you hindered people like myself who perhaps
could help but don't have the relevant information.
