I've done this myself. Unplug and disconect the smaller hd from the system. Re-Install XP on the larger hd. After final reboot reconnect the smaller hd. Then goto the smaller hd in explorer and delete the files that were added in the earlier install. If at reboot you still have the option to boot to the other version of xp you can right click on My Computer, properties, advanced tab, start up and recovery, settings, in system start up click on edit and then delet the line refering to the second hd. I think the c: drive is disk (0) and the smaller would be disk (1)...good luck
