Question about 'Customize the Start Menu Button' in WinXP

I'm having a problem changing both the word Start and the flag icon. I'm running WinXP Home Edition. I've tried editing explorer.exe with UltraEdit, as suggested above. The only way I've found to replace the file is by ending it in task manager and copying it, as was mentioning in another message, but this doesn't change the text on the button, even after I restart the computer. I've also tried StyleBuilder, but there's no option in it to change what the button says (or if there is, I can't find it). Ideally, I'd like to get rid of the text altogether and just have a blank button. As for the flag icon, I can't even find where XP hides it. Can anybody help?
