ok heres the lowdown:
XP has the feature available to view files through DCC but is unable to transfer
files to or from the XP computer... if you're connecting two 95/98/ME computers you
shouldnt have a problem.. but being as XP is based on the NT operating systems and
as any techie knows, most files are not compatable between the 98 and NT systems
except for online communications (sever/host connection via TCP/IP)... the only way
you MIGHT be able to transfer files is to burn on a disk, ZIP drive or portable media
and hope XP recognizes the files and file types....
but for those of you wanting to connect an XP computer with a 95/98/ME computer....
use regular Networking with a hub... provided you have an Ethernet card on both computers
