Yes, thanks it worked a treat in Windows XP too. I've been trying to install an Audigy
Platinum EX soundcard for ages and couldn't get past the Data Invalid problem.
Just an addtion to what's been detailed already, I didn't have a seperate entry under
the PCI sub heading as I couldn't get the driver to install at all. I just right
clicked on the PCI folder and changed the permissions for all the sub keys
