To all who have responded so far: I've tried the XP Network Setup Wizard several
times, but at the last screen, I get an error message to the effect that it can't
complete the setup, try manual setup. I've confirmed that the Host's (HP, WinXP)
IP, Gateway, DNS settings are in accordance with the settings found at this site,
MS site, etc; I'm connected to the internet before I begin the Wizard; both PCs are
turned on, ICS is "on" on the HP; printer is turned on; its hooked to the Client
PC (Dell, Win98SE). About the only thing I haven't done, is manually enter IP addresses
for the PCs. If anyone has any other suggestions other than the ones previously
posted, which didn't fix the problem, I'd love to hear them!
Thanks,
Mac
