Can't renew IP address Monday, May 27, 2002 at 4:57 pm Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Petey (37 messages posted) When I "repair" my TCP/IP in the LAN connections box (double clicking on the LAN icon in the systray) I get a message "the following steps of the repair operation failed: Renewing the IP address". Is there another way to renew the IP. I liked 98's ipcfg. It was easier and more concise.
