I just had this problem on a system that I added memory to. One of my SIMMs was not seated correctly. Turn off your computer and check that all the SIMMs are pushed all the way in. If they are, you may have a bad SIMM. Try removing them one at a time. If you only have one, borrow another to try. Good Luck.
