Actually I have just thought of something. I am not 100% sure that 98se supports universal plug and play (search google for UPnP). it is possible that this only came in with ME. if this is the case, you may need to assign each network card a static IP address, typically n the range 134.168.0.[1-2] (or something like that). what you are proposing will work but you need to check the IP configuation. There are other products about that also do this, such as sygate (www.sygate.com) or wingate. They offer much more control & functionality but if you can't get ICS working, you may also struggle with these 3rd party products.
