Tom: DLL World amd dll-files.com do not have xpspy.dll listed; not conclusive, but
sounds a warning bell.
Might be a good time to go into security check mode:
1. run Ad-Aware for spyware.
2. run an anti-virus scan.
3. send a copy of the file to your anti-virus folks and ask for an opinion.
4. ask your cable support about it.
5. rename the file xpxxx.dll and see what happens.
6. disable any new programs in your Startup folder.
