I've got a somewhat similar problem with my XP Corporate version. My folders open
up in their own window instead of the same window. Real pain in the ass when I'm
using 2 monitors and have 4 programs open. And I don't want to hear go to folder
options in control panel-general,Browse folders and tick the "open each folder in
the same window" button. Believe me I've tried it. Also, when I go to file types
(in the same applet) and highlight file folder or folder and then click on advanced...the
browse in same window is unchecked and grayed out. Actually, alot of those file types
in that list don't give me that option. I don't want to have to reinstall again.
I've tried everything short of beating my neighbor up, but I'm not sure if that will
fix my problem anyways.
