Hi, You can disable the XP zip folder capability by executing:

regsvr32 /u zipfldr.dll

You can re-enable it by running:

regsvr32 zipfldr.dll

If this fails you may have to try sfc/scannow or the repair console From the XP cd 
boot. Case
