Xp restarted you because you had a three back to back errors(a triple fault). On
the first error it says ok i can handle it, second it says getting pushy, and on
the third it says i cant handle this and reboots. Know to save your work you need
to put any a startup floppy disk and copy files to floppies. If the start up disk
doesn't work your bios is set to boot from the hdd before the flop. you can use any
start up disk you wont(95 - xp).
