Are you using a router to share web access with 2 or more computers? If so, read
the manual part where it says to go into your router admin menu. Usually means you
have to go to "run" type "telnet " then your ip address. In there, you will find
a menu to release and renew. I bet it'll work after you do that.
Read the manual that came with your router, not the cable modem. It'll tell you how
to get into the menu.
Good Luck
