Hi,
It took me 3 days to figure this out, but it works for us. We have a mixed network
of W98 and XP (10 pcs).
In the 98 pcs: goto the network settings in configuration screen, and activate the
'files and printer sharing for windows networks' for the TCP/IP protocol. Normally
it's unflagged.
Then in the XP unflag the IPX protocol (if it's installed). Don't install or use
netbui.
Hope this helps. It's to simple to be true.
It worked just fine for us. Finally.
