I have a question about Things that slow down system bootup:

I installed Windows XP service pack one yesterday, which, according to my computer was sucessful. When I restarted my computer it took almost 3 minutes to log on, and it has stayed this way (it only used to take about 10 seconds to log on). I am running a 1.8 Ghz machine with 512MB DDR Ram, and have at least 20GB hard drive space free. It would be great if anyone can help me. Thanks.
