Had the same problem. On my new notebook the autorun stopped functioning. I compared the registry entries with my PC running XP too. Found a difference in the NoDriveTypeAutorun. The running value was 95, the failing value was ff. Now I changed this value to 95, did a reboot and the miracle worked. Autorun is now up again. regards, Harry
