I tried this step and it did not work. My problem started when my daughter was downloading a picture from the net while playing a CD. She turned the computer off and now when I turn it on I get the illegal operation box. I have tried safe mode and the box still pops up. In one of the step by step boots, it said line 6 and 7 in the config sys were damaged. What can I try?
