I also have the same problem. The problem existed on an Epox and Asus mobo. I think
it`s a problem with XP and the nvidia driver. To get it working I have to install
the 21.83 nvidia drivers that came with my MSI geforce 3. I tried the new personal
cinema drivers from nvidia and also the 30.00 drivers from MSI and both cause this
error. The problem is that you can`t even update the 3d card driver on it`s own or
it will effect the video capture with this problem again. XP is really bad at dealing
with driver problems and in my opinion this error is between microsoft and nvidia.
Any Ideas!
